Tweed Pumps

I bought these black tweed pumps about two years ago.  They have a little thin leather bow on the toe.  The heel appears to be stacked and the shoe has a nice platform.  They are a great looking shoe but I do not like how they make me walk.  My feet slip to the toe and then that start to flop and it makes me skid or come close to tripping.  And if I try to grip the shoes with my toes then I start to walk really funny.  Not fun.  Especially when I had to walk around in them at work!  If I wear these again I will definitely be sitting down!  However, I have these insert things that I could try to keep them from slipping.  If it works then all of the above problems will go away! 

I plan to buy a new pair of booties this week.  Hopefully I will get the store where I saw them and hopefully they will still have them in my size!

Black Faux Leather Peeptoe Cut-out Booties

These are the shoes I bought for $6.08!!  Aren't they adorable?!  I wore them to work today.  Its unseasonably warm today so sandals are completely appropriate.  Afterwards I ran an errand and headed home.  I got home and decided to put some dark green nail polish on my toes.  Then I decided I didn't have enough time to let them dry so I only painted the 3 on each foot that show!  Ha ha ha!!  I was off again!  I met a friend at Chili's to have an early dinner.  On to Target and Starbucks!!  Yummy!  I found tons of cute stuff at Target and they were having a phenomenal clearance on their winter wear!  I have decided to dip into my "Shoe $$$" jar but I didn't even look at the shoes at Target!  That surprises me!  Well on the next shoe...

Just some window shopping...

Today was another "I'm so exhausted, put on the Sperry's and go to class" day.  So now I'm shopping.  So I went to Payless.com and found this pair of shoes designed by Christian Siriano-Project Runway's Season 4 winner.  I absolutely love these high fashion boots!!  Look at the heel!  It looks like chrome!

I also found these on Payless.com.  They make me think of  Prada's spring 2011 shoe line.  So much fun!

Charlotte Russe has a ton of cute shoes!  I'm going nuts looking at these shoes!  Finding lots of pretty things.  Its making me want to break into my "Shoe $$$"!!  Here is a little taste for you.

This pair makes me think of a pair of Brian Atwood Loca's Carrie wore in Sex and The City 2 The Movie.  They are very similar.

I Want A New Pair Of Shoes

I wore these brown ankle boots with some skinny jeans and a cream sweater to class today and I'll wear them to work later.  They have a flap that has been folded over and fastened with a brass button.  They do not fold up.  They do, however, have a comfort sole.  When I say comfort, I mean comfort!  Its so squishy inside!  It makes them very warm.  I bought them from Avon last winter I think.  I don't wear them very often because the shade of brown is hard to match.  But I like them none the less.

These just might become my favorite boots.  I wore these boots Wednesday with black leggings and a gray tunic.  I wore them to class and then to work.  I also went to Walmart but that's no big thing.  I need to go on an adventure!  Like shoe shopping!  And I want some oxfords!  I found these at Shoe Carnival but I didn't buy them.  But I'm thinking about it.

I wore my Sperry's Tuesday because I was to tired to pick a cute pair of shoes and then try to think of an outfit that coordinates.  I'll be glad when warmer weather gets here so I can wear every pair of open toe shoes I own!  Which happens to be over half my shoes.

I've been busy with school and work so I feel like I've been neglecting my little bloggy.  When I got in bed last night to start my blog, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep!  I think I might have figured out how to do my blog on my phone so I'm gonna try to do a post during my lunch breaks.  That excites me!!

Trouble in Paradise

I am finding it increasingly difficult to wear a different pair of shoes every day.  I do not like winter and I try to avoid it at all costs.  I don't buy a lot of winter clothing or shoes (until this season!).  I just do what I can do to make it through the cold season until spring comes along.  Needless to say, I do not own a lot of closed toe shoes.  I think I have just a few more pairs before I will have to start repeating them constantly.  Our winters in Arkansas aren't very cold so I get to wear open toe shoes occasionally.  I will be doing that.  However, I will be purchasing any closed toe shoes or boots I can find now that they are going on sale or clearence to make room for warmer weather wear!  YAY summer!!

Today, for the first part any way, I wore my fav flat boots.  Then I got on the ellipticil and kept my tennis shoes on for the rest of the day.  Pink and silver Adidas.  I bought them a couple of years ago at TJ Maxx and I wear them normally only when I'm doing some kind of exercise or extensive walking.

Saturday and Sunday Shoes

The shoes I wore today are black patent leather Mary Jane type heels.  They have a rounded toe which gives a vintage feel to them.  I like to wear them with my fitted dresses when I do my hair up in a 40's/50's style.  But today I wore them with dress pants and a nice top to work.  I bought them at Cato a year or so ago.  That's about all.

My Saturday shoes are a smaller kitten type heel.  They are brown crocodile with a very pointed toe!  I got them at Payless a billion years ago.  I'm being for real.  I bought them in 2004!  It amazes me what I remember about my shoes!  That is a long time to keep a pair of shoes!  Any who, they are still in great shape and I wore them to work.  I was gonna go to a hot dog stand but somebody has a sore back and I didn't want to go without them.  It just wouldn't be the same!  We'll save that excursion for another day. 

Three Days of Shoes

Wednesday I wore these taupe boots that my sister gave me over the weekend.  Super cute!  I love everything about these boots!  I wore them to class which was an eight hour day in its self.  Then, I wore them to work for another four hours.  I've never owned a pair of shoes this color and I was unsure of what to wear with them.  So, I went for skinny jeans with gold decorations on the pockets and a slouchy off white shirt.  Can't wait to wear them again!

Thursday we had a little snow and it was my day off so I wore the Sperrys.  I got out of class super early and went home to wear my comfy house shoes that resemble sheep.  They are so cute and soft all over!  Then, I went to dinner with a frined and after we went shoe shopping at Shoe Carnival.  I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of clinical shoes.  I think I found a pair, but I have to run them by my clinical instructor first.  Here is what they look like.  I think my dad has the same pair!

Today (Friday) I wore my flats again.  First to class then to work.  And grocery shopping.  I think I need more closed toe black shoes!  I also need a better set up for my shoes.  It would help if I finished organizing my closet!

 

New Shoes

Yesterday I was very tired and I had to study so I didn't make time to blog.  Sorry.  I did wear these cute black suede ankle boots with little black buttons up the side though.  I was told I look very tall in these.  I'm starting to see a trend with my shoes.  Black and suede!!  Ha ha ha!!  Any way, I bought them a few years ago at Payless.  I'm sure they were on sale.  I hardly ever buy anything full price.  Speaking of purchasing, I just bought a new pair of open toe ankle boots.  Black of course!  Not suede though, faux leather.  Ha ha!  They cost me a mere $6.08!!  I cannot wait to wear them and post them on here!  Maybe this week!!  I'm wearing my fav black suede flat boots today and we've already seen them.  I need a pair of these in brown!

Shoe $$$

Today I wore my flats to work.  I couldn't decide which pair of shoes to wear and I started to get pressed for time so I just chose the flats.  Plus they were close to the door.  I never put them away after wearing them last week.  I put away a lot of my shoes today though.  Last week was very busy.  Work and school consumed my week so my room became very messy!

And for the title of this blog; I have a jar my step mom gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago that has this inscribed on it.  I thought it was super cute!  I never really used it all that much.  I maybe collected a few dollars since I've had it.  So, I decided to put more change in it when I had change.  Its been hard for me to resist paying in exact change when I'm paying in cash.  But I'm doing it!  I've even collected a few $1 coins to put in there.  I counted it up yesterday just to see how far I've gotten.  It was over $24!!  I am super proud that I have saved that much change!!  The jar isn't completely full yet but it will be.  I can't wait to cash it in and see what kind of shoes I can buy with it.  Or how many!!

Boots and More Boots

I didn't blog yesterday because I came home from work, ate, and went to sleep. So I bought these boots a week and a half ago.  They turned out to be great boots!  I cannot wait to wear them again!!  They are a thin suede with gun metal grommet shoe lace holes.  They also have a nice stacked heel.  I wore them to school yesterday morning.  When I got out of class I had to pick up my boyfriend because the battery died on his scooter at the post office.  Coincidentally, my car died there too a few months ago.  Ha ha ha!!  I actually helped him put the battery on.  For real!  And it was my light blue Phillips screwdriver that he borrowed to put the battery in!  I saved the day!!  Then I went to work.  When I got home my boyfriend treated me to Logan's Steakhouse for helping him out!  Isn't he sweet?!

Today I wore these chocolate brown patent boots to work with a cream sweater dress.  I love the big button detail at the very top.  I bought these last winter at Cato.  I have worn them a lot and I enjoy wearing them along with every other pair of shoes I own.  Ha ha ha!!  These are one of three pairs of brown boots I own.  I don't wear a whole lot of brown.  Also I have worn black boots for almost an entire week or at least black shoes until today.  I don't think that's even the tip of the black shoe iceberg in my closet!!

Leather Shooties With a Bow

I got these as a Christmas gift from my older sister.  I got to pick them out and she got to pay for them!  That's my kind of shopping!!  We found them at a store called It's Fashion.  I love this place!  I wore these today with leggings and a sweater type dress (that I bought with the shoes) to class.  I ran into a friend in the book store and we decided to have lunch.  Pizza buffet!  Love, love!  Then off to work I went.  That's the story of these little shootie boots.  Ha ha ha!

I really love the bow detail and the stellito heel.  The boots look pointy but they don't really feel like it.  Although my third toe got an unusual cramp about an hour before my shift was over.  Sad little toe.  Ha ha ha!!

Black Slouchy Boots

I LOVE these boots!!  These are another pair of my favs!  I probably say that about all of my boots but I guess I wouldn't buy them if they weren't.  Ha ha ha!!  I bought them at Cato a few months ago for around $30.  Not too bad if I do say so myself.  Today was the first day of classes for the spring semester so I wore them to class.  I had to park very far away from the building I needed to be in but these boots were great.  They marched me half way across the campus!  When I got back home the roomie and I went to watch 'The Black Swan'.  OMG!  Was it good!!  Very suspenseful!! 

I am a lover of all kinds of high heels but it seems that I am turning into a boot-aholic this winter.  I have gotten 5 new pair that I can think of.  That's a lot!  Sadly, I will probably collect a few more before the season changes.

My Only Flats!

So this is my only pair of flats!!  Hard for me to believe too!!  I wore these all day at work.  They're flats so of course they're not bad to walk in.  I bought them at Cato for $4.  Ya, I know!  Ha ha ha!  Off topic, I'm watching Million Dollar Match Maker and this girl is a bimbo!!  OK, back to the shoes.  Ha ha ha!!  They are black patent with studs on the toe.  I love the studs on them.  Its a mix of gun metal, hematite, and silver so I can wear a lot of different jewelry that coordinates with them.  I think I have more jewelry than shoes!  That's a lot!!

Knee High Boots

I wore these cute boots to work (get used to me saying that.  ha!).  It was snowing and slushy out so I didn't want my feet to get wet and leather is good for that.  So is a heel!  Ha ha ha!  My friend Tiffany gave me these boots over the summer.  She said they hurt her feet.  Not mine!  I think she bought them at Payless.  I wore these with pants but I plan to wear them with a skirt and tights next time.  I love the gun metal looking buttons on the side.  They would look super cute with a military style jacket!  Also, notice how it is split half leather and half suede.  I'm starting to notice how many suede shoes I have!  I still haven't counted my shoes like I said I would.  I guesstimated 80.  We'll see...

Wish List

It actually got cold here and snowed.  So no more open toe shoes for a little while.  I'm kind of sad because I LOVE open toe shoes!  Today I wore my favorite pair of boots that I've already blogged about.  But I've been doing some shopping and I found a pair of shoes that I will never be able to afford but they are beautiful.  So I added them to my "If I get rich" list.

I bought these shoes a couple of years ago at Payless around the New Year with my birthday money my grandmother gave me (my birthday is in December).  I can remember everything I bought and a round about time frame I bought it in.  I can also remember everything that was given to me and by who and on what occasion it was given to me.  Don't ask me how I remember this, I just do.  I wish this kind of memory would aide me while studying!  I would have been out of school a long time ago.  Ha ha ha!!

I wore these to work today.  Sorry I couldn't have something more exciting to tell.  I have worked a lot more this week than any other.  But these shoes are cute and comfy!  I must say that all the shoes I wore this week were surprisingly comfortable.  Even on the 11 hour days!

P.S.  My sister bought me a cute pair of ankle booties that I just can't wait to wear! 

To the Knee, Flat, Suede Boots

These are probably my most favorite pair of boots.  I wear them a lot!!  I wear them with dresses, skirts, skinny jeans, and leggings.  They go with everything!  So of course I wore them to work (short day).  Then, the boyfriend and I went to lunch, shopping, hair cut, dinner, shopping and now I'm exhausted.  I bought the boots last winter at Cato.  LOL!  I'll probably get them re-soled before I replace them.  That's how much I love them!  They have a slight wedge, maybe an inch.  The boots make a clacking noise like heels make when you walk so they sound like the heel should be taller.  If that makes sense.  Ha ha ha!! 

On days where I repeat a pair of shoes I will show a pair that I am longing to purchase.  My shoe collection just might reach to 365 pairs!  I actually do not know how many pairs of shoes I have in my possession.  I'll do a count some time soon. 

In case you were wondering, the eye in the left bottom corner belongs to a 7 lb dachshund named Avery.  She was sniffing the camera as my boyfriend was taking the picture.  Ha ha ha!!

Zip-up Caged Shooties and Sperrys

Ok so Blogger was down lastnight so I was unable to show what shoes I wore.  I was so frustrated lastnight when the page wouldn't load.  I thought it was my computer so I restared it, removed a lot of junk and restarted it again.  Come to find out it was the web page!  Urgh!!  Ok.  I wore these cute light brown caged shooties for around 12 hours yesterday.  I was pleasently surprised that my feet weren't killing me at the end of the night.  Sore, yes.  But who wouldn't have hurt feet after standing that long?!  I got them a year or so ago at Cato (told you I get a ton of my shoes there).  I haven't wore them much because I thought they were uncomfortable at first but I put them on agian a few months ago and they were great!  Danced all night in those suckers!! 

As for today, I wore my old trusty Sperrys.  Again, I was at work for a very long time and I am exhausted from yesterday and I didn't feel like wearing heels today.  So these went on the tootsies!  I even did a lil beachy theme!  I wore my hair all wavy and had very neutral makeup on.  Flowy, airy shirt and dress pants.  I bought the shoes a couple of years ago at Shoe Carnival.  They are so comfy!  I wore them when I went on a tour of New York City one summer.  Thats what I think about when I wear them.  Its a great memory!

Pink Suede Peeptoe Wedges

I love these shoes!!  They are so cute and comfy!  My sister gave these to me for Christmas and I just love them!  They have suede at the toe so it makes it soft.  And they tie at the back making them ultra girlie!  I wore these shoes today because it was unusually warm and a little dreary so I wanted to brighten it up some.  I ate lunch with friend and then took a mini road trip to pick up my boyfriend a few towns over.  The shoes just brightened up my whole day.  Not to mention they matched my lipgloss!  Ha ha ha!

Black Patent Pumps

These pumps are so cute!  Not to bad to wear either.  I mean they get to you after a little while because there is no padding on the ball of your feet but the small heel helps with that. I bought them because they were super cheap and they have a vintage feel about them.  Maybe its just me.  Ha ha ha!!  I purchased them at Cato along with the two shoes in the last post.  I think half of my shoes are from there!  Of course I wore them to work.  I think I live at work!  Then I trotted around town in them to go shopping with my pal AJ aka Stan.  :)  I'll have something a little more fun to show you tomorrow!

First Post!!

So one of my New Year's Resolutions was to try and wear a new pair of shoes every day.   And in order to make sure I don't wear the same pair twice in a row my pal AJ said "start a blog!"  So here I am.  First blog post.  Should have thought of this yesterday but better late than never! 

I'm kind of a shoe-aholic but I don't think I have 365 pair, so I will most likely repeat shoes but I will try not to do it back to back.  So in my shoe diaries I will tell you where I wore the shoes and what I did that day.  And if I was inspired to wear a certain pair!  I shop all the time so new shoes will be magicaly appearing.  Hahaha!!

I wore these cute black suede hooded boots yesterday to work.  Lots of fun!!

These brown wedges are my go to shoes when I'm wearing brown pants to work.  Not my favorite but they do the job.  Ha ha ha!
