Black Sequin Pumps

My Merry Christmas Eve present to myself is a pair of black and silver sequin pumps.  I got these at my work, Cato, and they are fabulous!  We got these shoes in last year around this time and they flew off the shelves before I could even get a good look at them.  When we got them in again this year I just had to have a pair.  I'm so excited that I was able to get a pair and I cannot wait to wear them!

Last Week

OMG!  What a week last week was!  I had two finals on Wednesday and one on Thursday.  We had snow on Tuesday night and it was beautiful!  Unfortunately southerners do not react well to snow.  I got rear-ended on my way to take my final on Wednesday.  I am ok.  No damage to me just to my car.  I was very late but I had a very good excuse for missing and I was able to make up the test.  I passed all of my finals and came out of this semester with 3 B's and 1 A.  Pretty good turn out if I do say so myself. 

Saturday, the 10th, was my birthday!  It was fun!  Friday night I went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra and it was awesome, slow in the begining, but awesome none the less.  Saturday night my boyfriend took me out and we had pizza and drinks with some friends.  I had a really good birthday weekend.

During the mess that was last week, I wore these amazing leopard flats that I bought over the Thanksgiving holiday.  Yay for flats and yay for my first pair of animal print shoes!!  I bought them at Cato and I have been wearing them with dress pants and jeans.  My favorite outfit to wear with them so far is a pair of flare leg jeans with the knees ripped, a white ruffle tank and a lime green cardigan.  It's so super cute!

Coming To A Close

This year is flying by!  I got so caught up in school and tests that I didn't even get to blog the whole month of November.  That makes me sad.  I have had such a crazy semester at school and other things popping up that blogging was the last thing on my mind. I am only one semester away from graduting as a LPN. 

 Now that the year is coming to a close, looking back on all of my shoes, I can honeslty say I've worn almost all of them.  I can actually think of only one pair that I haven't worn.  It's way to cold to wear them now but I've had them for many years and I've only worn them once.  Maybe next spring. 

I have bought a lot of shoes and got rid of some as well.  I thought I had a lot more shoes than I actually do but it's been awhile since I've counted them last.  I think that will be my last post of the year.  I'm pretty sure I will have more new shoes before that day.  Hahaha!

Tall Cognac Boots

My sister bought these boots for me last week at Target as an early birthday present.  They were the very last ones in this style and they were in my size!  Not to mention they were on SALE!  I had to snatch these bad boys up.  I don't have any boots like them and I have been searching for a pair.  I was really very happy when I found them. 

I wore them yesterday with black jeggings, an ivory top and gold jewlery to work and then to dinner with my family.  Today I wore them with jeggings and a plaid top to a baby shower and to dinner with my boyfrined.  They are so versitile that I've also worn them with a dress!

Tall Taupe Boots

These are my fourth pair of shoes from Shoe Dazzle and I love them so far.  My third pair I had to send back because they squashed my toes, so technically this is my third pair.  I got them in the mail on Wednesday, I think, and I wore them today.  I went shopping and to judge an ugly Christmas sweater party for some 9th graders.  These boots are comfortable and roomy.  My feet didn't feel crammed into them and they are easy to walk in.

Black Peep Toe Booties

I bought these booties last night at Cato for $18 I think.  They are suede and very pliable which makes them super comfortable to wear all day!  I wore them today with a striped maxi dress and a black cardigan and a black blazer.  I like how the buckles give the boots a bit of an edge which I feel makes them over all more versitile.

Oxfords

Well, it's been ages since I last blogged.  I have gone on a shoe shopping frenzy the last week after weeks of abstaining.  I can't wait to show you all the goodies I have.

Sometime in the beginning of October, I bought a pair of high heel Oxfords from Cato for around $20.  I absolutely love them!  What a great investment!  I am able to wear them with dresses, dress pants, and jeans!  I love that the color is distressed or antiqued a little at the stitching.  It just gives them a wonderful look.  Enjoy.

Brown Peep-Toe Espadrilles

Yesterday I had family pictures.  We had a color scheme of red and brown.  I wore a brown top and blue jean bell bottoms with copper jewelry.  My shoes I bought last Sunday at Cato for $10.  Super cute but not functional in a park full of rocks and mole holes.  I had to eventually take them off before I actually broke something!  I cannot remember if I have ever had trouble walking in heels but yesterday I did!  It was not fun.  The family pictures were.  Not everyone followed the color scheme but we looked good together anyway.  Well, without further adieu.

A Good Finish To The Week

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday I did finish "Fire Your Flip Flops" week.  I just get so busy sometimes that I forget to post.  Sadly, I've been thinking about posting and I've had the opportunity to do so I just haven't.  So here we go!

Thursday I wore my ankle boots that lace up.  I think they look a little military so I wore them with some skinny jeans and a military inspired jacket with brass buttons all down the front.

Friday I wore my open toe booties with the cut outs.  I love these shoes!  They are fabulous!

Saturday I wore some enclosed heeled ankle boots with a cute gray long sleeved shirt dress. I wore them to run some errands, to work and then to a car club meeting with my boyfriend.  Lots of fun!  They saw a lot of action, esecially when I fell asleep in the car!

T-Strap Mini Wedges

I wore these T-Strap mini wedges to work only.  I had clinical and didn't feel like picking anything out for work and these were on my closet floor.  I bought these a few years ago at Cato.  I also bought a pair in pink!  I like how the chain gives them a little bit of an edge.  The material looks to be a type of snake skin so it plays into to the edgy feel but the wedge makes them girly.  I really like them, hints the fact that I have 2 pair.  LOL!

Fire Your Flip Flops Week Cont.

So apparently my mobile blog is not connected to my web blog.  I just found that out.  Bummer.  So, that means I will have 2 posts today!  Yay!!  A recap for the week: Monday I did not wear heels.  After clinical, I ate and went to sleep.  All I wore were my clinical tennis shoes, they are white New Balance, and a pair of flip flops I wear around my house because its still too hot for house shoes.  Tuesday I wore my cognac wedges from Target.  They are really quite comfy!  I enjoy wearing them and I try to wear them as much as possible.  Yesterday, I wore them to class and then on a mini shopping trip with my gal pals.  We really needed some retail therapy after the booty whooping we got from the 2 tests taken previously that morning.  When it was all over I had to go to work and grocery shopping after.  All the while wearing those super cute wedges!

Fire Your Flip Flops!!

Last week I tried out firing my flip flops, that is, I didn't wear flip flops or sandals.  I was a lot more successful than I thought I would be.  I only broke down on Wednesday and wore sandals because it was a clinical day for me and I took a nap and slept longer than I intended to.  I was running late so I found a pair of sandals and hurridly put them on.  This week I hope it goes over better!  I want to go all seven days wearing heels!  This will be difficult because I have two clinical days this week and I will have little time where I'm wearing regular clothes and not scrubs.

So for today I wore a pair of Nine West elestic espedrilles.  I got these on my vacation in August from a mall in NJ.  My luggage was lost for 26 hours and I HAD to go shopping.  The airline reimbersed me for my shopping which was the best part!  I love free things!!  I've worn thses shoes a handful of times and they really are comfortable to be in.  I thought for sure the rope sole would irritate my feet but they are actually very soft.  I wore them to work today and to run errands in after work.  I try to find things to wear with them all the time.  One of my favorite end of summer shoes!

Cognac Leather Cork Wedges

I bought these wedges last week at Target for $7!  What an amazing buy!!  I was so excited when I saw them, I snatched them up and went straight to the checkout!  I have been looking all summer for a pair of shoes this color.  They are perfect for just about everything.  I have worn them twice now, both times with a dress but I know they will do fabulous with anything.  I will be wearing them well into fall.  Super excited about that too!

So, today I wore them to class.  Got lots of compliments on them and the dress I wore them with.  I guess I looked very classy.  Ha ha ha!  After class I went to the fish store to get ghost shrimp with my boyfriend to feed the lion fish.  Sad I know, but he has to eat too.  Then I got gas for my car.  Thats about the extent of my day and all the excitement my cute wedges had.

The Un-Worn Shoes

So today I decided to wear a pair of shoes that have been in my closet for some time.  I took them down from the top of my closet and opened the box.  Inside is a pair of sling back pointed toe kitten heels that are a very light green with a woven look to the toe.  I pulled them out of the box along with the purchase receipt dated 2007!!  What have I been waiting on?!  I think about wearing these shoes often but can never think or find something that I'm happy with.  I just decided to wear them and I didn't care with what.  I wore them to work and that's it.  I guess I'm not used to wearing pointy toe shoes because they hurt my feet about an hour in.  Not fun since I had seven more hours to go.  I toughed it out and made it through.  I may never wear them again, sadly.  They are very cute!

I have been very bad about posting pics of the shoes with the post but, I promise I will start getting better.  I will take the pictures of all the shoes that I haven't posted and I will post them.  Promise!

T-Strap Mini Wedges

I bought these shoes a long time ago at Cato. They are cute and they don't hurt my feet. Plus they are low enough to not make me tower over everyone. Which I don't mind. I love being tall. I actually wish I were taller sometimes. But I digress, I loved these shoes so much I bought the same ones in pink! Ha ha ha!! I wear them to work all the time. They are perfect for that. After a few hours the bottoms of my feet get bruised feeling but its just because the sole is so hard. That don't mean I'm gonna stop wearing them!

I only wore them to work today. Sad but true. Story of my life now. All work and no play. But that's how I'm able to buy so many shoes!

Inventory

After going through my shoes and counting them it got me to thinking about the types and colors of shoes I do have and the types and colors I don't.  So, I took inventory and its just easier for me to tell you what I don't have.  Ha ha ha!  I do not have any animal print shoes.  Except a pair of heels that have a tiny patch of zebra at the heel.  Its hard for me to count those.  Other than that, no animal print!  I couldn't believe it either!  Next, I do not have anything blue, purple, or orange.  This saddens me because I love color.  Also, the only green shoes I have are only a light mint at the toe and I've never worn them.  Next, I only have one pair of flats.  I got rid of a lot of shoes at the beginning of summer and my flats were among those that were discarded.  Lastly, I don't have a pair of over the knee boots.  I have been searching for a pair for two winters now.  I will have a pair for this winter.  Had I typed this last week I could have added brown sandals to this list but happily they have been checked off the list.

So now I'm on the hunt to find the missing shoes that will complete my collection.  I already have a pair of army green strapy high heeled sandals in mind.  I also have my eye on some cute orange heels with a cork platform.  My search continues for blue and purple.  And, I have yet to find a pair of animal print that I like.  As for the over the knee boots, I can't wait to see what ShoeDazzle has in store this winter! 

Brown Leather Sandals

I bought these brown sandals at Cato on Wednesday I believe. I didn't have any brown sandals and these are very versatile and in for this summer so I just had to get them. I wore them today to the mall. Sadly I didn't buy anything because I spent my money on some bills. Boo! No fun being a grown up sometimes. Maybe next time I'll get something. I did have fun with my sister and my roommate. My sis bought some very cute jewelry from Forever 21 and my roommate found a dress for her engagement party at The Limited. I ate some Chinese food at the mall and went to an aquarium store and looked at some fish where my boyfriend bought some coral for the salt water tank. Busy day! I also wore these sandals on Friday. That was a fun day as well. I had a doctor appointment then headed off for a girls lunch where I had some fabulous cheesecake. After, we went to the movies to see "Horrible Bosses". Can you say halirous?!

Gold Pumps

I bought these light gold pumps at Cato last spring. I bought them because they are very fresh and springy looking. And i wore them to a wedding soon after I bought them. I really like them and I've only worn them a few tines because I forget that I have them. I wore them today with a bright red jersey knit dress. Sadly like always I was only able to wear them to work. But I rocked those prissy little shoes!

Silver Embelished Heels

I bought these shoes quite a few years ago at Payless. I remember thinking they were really dressy and a little princessy. I think I bought them around the new year because they had a party collection and it was all about shining or something like that. I haven't worn them very much just because they are so flashy. Ha ha ha! Flashy! They make me think of the shoes Carrie wears in an episode of Sex and the City where her silver jeweled Manilo's get stolen at a baby shower. Except these ate a T-strap and hers were not. Any who, I only got to wear these sparkly guys to work today. And they are nice to walk in due to the low heel. However, they are a tiny bit too tight around my foot but not enough to make me get rid of them. Ha ha ha!!!

Black Sandals With Zipper Embellishment

I didn't blog last night because I came home from work, made macaroni and cheese and passed out. Yesterday was a long day. I'm on call for federal jury duty and yesterday I had to show up for it. I wasn't selected to be a juror so I got to leave around lunch. I met a friend at the local pool for a few hours then headed to work. I started to get tired and a little sick feeling. When work was over I was very glad.

All day, except for the time I spent at the pool, I wore these black high heeled sandals with the zipper embellishment. I wore them with skinny dress pants and a pink ruffled silk top. I bought them at Cato last Thursday for $7.99. Great price for these cute shoes! I love bargains!!

Camel and Off-White Strapy Shoes

I wore these strapy shoes today.  I bought them from Shoedazzle last week and I got them in Friday!  This is my second pair of Shoedazzle shoes.  I really like them and they are really cute.  They don't hurt my feet to walk in but they rub my Achilie's tendion so bad.  Its very disappointing.  *Insert sad face.*  And they are so high!  I didn't expect that when I ordered them.  Guess I wasn't paying to much attention.  I wore them all day any way!  I wore them to church this morning and then shopping and lunch after.  Later this evening I took my dad out to dinner for Father's Day along with my sister and my boyfriend.  We had a blast!  I need to figure out a way to not make them rub so I can wear them more!

How Many Shoes?!?!?!

After 6 months of having this blog and saying that I will count my shoes I finally did tonight!  With all of my heels, sandals, flip flops, boots and tennis shoes, there are 90 in total!  WOW!  I honestly didn't think I was that close to 100!  But I am!!  When people ask how many shoes I have I always say 'O, around a hundred'.  I didn't think I was actually telling the truth since I like to exaggerate sometimes.  Ha ha ha!  Wow.  I kind of want to keep going to actually reach 100 but then again I think I should stop.  But I know me, I'll keep buying shoes. 

Black Three Ring Flip Flops

These are some of my favorite sandals to wear to work, which I did. As you can yell i wear them a ton! They are very simple patent black and they go with a lot of stuff. I wear them because they are a little more dressy nut still remain casual. Perfect for work! I bought them at work a few years ago for the reasons stated previously. Hope your hump day shoes are fabulous!

Walmart Sandals

I bought these sandals last summer from Walmart after I saw a coworker wearing a pair just like them. When she said 'Walmart' I couldn't believe my ears! I rushed to walmart to have a look see at the selection. I found these in gray and in pink. I liked the look of the gray much better, so I hot them. My sister just so happened to be with me that day and she too bought a gray pair. I get lots of compliments on them every time I wear them. Sadly I have not foud a cute pair if sandals ar Walmart this year.

I wore these sandals to work this morning. We had shipment so it was busy and a lot of fun! Shipment day is our favorite day because of the new product we get to look at. I went to a water park after but I didn't wear shoes. You kind of can't. When I got home, we all went out to a pizza restaurant to have dinner. We as in my boyfriend and our roomies. I did wear these sandals here though! We had a supreme pizza and a capraza salad. Yummy!

Now I'm at home in my pj's and no shoes typing this blog! Yay pj's!!!

Red Wedges

Today, Sunday, I wore my red strapy wedges to work.  I wore them with a black and white polka dot mini dress.  Super cute!  I bought them a few years ago from Target to wear to a wedding.  I actually still have the receipt in the box.  Ha ha ha!!  They are pretty comfortable, but like most shoes they start to hurt after extended periods of time.  I don't wear them very often because I can never think of things to wear with them.  I seem to have that problem a lot!  Wish I didn't.

Shoedazzle!

So I finally wore my shoes from Shoedazzle today. They were fabulous! They fit perfectly and they feel great too! I wore them to work with a fitted white V-neck shirt and a turquoise skirt, gold jewelry to accessorize it! They are super high and about 2 hours before my shift ended my ankle started hurting. But other than that, no complaints! Love them!

Paisly Flip Flops

I bought these flip flops FOREVER ago at Maurices. They are brown with an orange, green and yellowish paisly ribbon across the strap. I don't wear them very often. I guess I just forget about them. They have a very smooth bottom that has made me slide once or twice. That can be emberassing.

Today I wore them with skinny jeans that I cuffed at the bottom. I wore them to class and around my house. I also went to a pet store with my boyfriend. He has a salt water fish tank he is working on and he bought a "clean up crew" today. I picked out an Emerald Crab that is actually emerald green! I like him. We also bought snails and some fish too. And thats about the extent of my day.

Black Gillies

I bought these shoes from my work, Cato, and I wore them to work today. Hahaha! I did a little Walmart shopping to get a pot for my lillies then I went to the grocery store after. I really enjoyed wearing these shoes today and I'm really excited that I bought them.

So, I've seen this type of shoe around and u wasnt very sure if I liked them. We got these in at my work and they didn't sell very well. I continued to look at them questioningly for the past few weeks. The more I looked at them the more I started to kind if like them. They went on markdown several times as well. I decided to try them on last week and I was surprised to find that I actually liked them! Then I found out they were going on markdown again to $5.99! I decided I had to buy them. I've decided that the cheaper something is the more appealing it becomes.

Same ol', same ol' Gold T-Strap Sandals

Today I wore my gold braided t-strap sandals that i boight at Cato. I had to run an errand with my dad that had me driving 45 min one way an then back home. He treated ne to a burger made very fresh at a restaurant close to my house. I then met up with my friend and ate again! I was so stuffed I don't know how I was walking! I rushed to work and was late. Ugh! I hate being late but today it was super sunny and warm out. The kicker is there were helacious winds and it started raining! It was very odd to have the sun shining and rain pouring from the sky. We had some tornado warnings but no touchdown. Relief. After work I has ice-cream with my roommates and headed to the laundry mat to clean my bead spread. It had food and puppy pee on it (poor thing was scared). And that is all the places my gold sandals took me today! I need another pair to add some variety!

Black Snake Skin and Suede Wedges

I love these puppies!  I got them from Cato a few months ago and I have worn them quite a bit.  I wear them with dresses, skirts, slacks and skinny jeans.  Today I wore them with an elaborate print dress to work.  After work I had coffee with a co-worker.  I had to ventis and then Starbucks closed before I could get in and use the restroom!  My bladder was full and I live 10 min. away!  That was one long drive. 

Yesterday I didn't post pictures with my post because my iPhone will not let me upload pictures.  I had to post from my phone because my laptop was dead and I didn't feel like getting up to plug it in.  Lazy no, tired yes.  When I do this just stay tuned, pictures will follow shortly.

My Next New Shoes

Today I wore black rufflie sandals. I didn't do a whole lot outside of my apartment today so I didn't put a lot into my shoes. I did, however find my next pair of shoes. Somethings Blue by Manolo Blanik. I'm probably gonna have to buy the knock offs because I just don't have that kind of money.   But love them I do.

Yesterday, I wore my taupe espadrilles practically all day. First I had church, afterwards we had Japanese at this little restaurant/hibachi. It's was pretty good. We went shopping, my roommates and befriend and I. I got some perfume, Lamb by Gewn Stefani. I have been looking all over for that stuff! My friends Cindy and AJ went to the movies with me to watch Bridesmaides. Halirous!

New Shoes!!

Today I wore my black ruffle t-strap sandals to work and then I wore my gold braided t-strap sandals to visit my little sisters. I did do something exciting though...

I joined ShoeDazzle some months ago and I've been waiting for the right pair to buy. Today I found a great pair of taupe sandals. Almost like a two strap sandal. And I made my first purchase! I'm really excited to get them in and wear them. Then review! It's so exciting. I haven't decided if I want to continue to receive a new pair every month or not. It sounds great for just $38.95 a month. I mean, I probably already spend that much on shoes a month any way. I might just go ahead and keep 'em coming!

Brown Caged Shooties

Today was such a rainy day!  We have gotton so much rain that roads have been closed for days.  Just when you think its all drying up, it rains like crazy again!  Well I refuse to let the weather bring down my fashion!  I rocked these open shoes despite the pouring rain. I ran errands that included getting my lunch and letting it get cold in my car, taking my step mom's dog to the groomer, dropping off a key fob, and grabbing hair shears all before going to work.  Whew!  That wore me out just typing it! So for the shoes, I bought these about a year or so ago at Cato.  I really liked them but I wasn't sure how to wear them.  Now I wear them with everything form dresses to dress pants.  I love caged shooties!  I would like to own more... 

Black Open Toe Booties

I've blogged about these shoes before.  I love these booties!  I wanted a pair of open toe booties during the winter but I was to busy to shop around for some.  When these came in the shipment at work, I fell in love.  I really wanted them but I kept telling myself that I wanted to look around.  Well I never did.  These babies went on markdown to $6.99, I believe, and I snatched them up!  I've had them for some months and have worn them a few times.  Each time I wear them I get tons of compliments.  Today I wore them with a cute black and white bandage style dress.  And again, I was complimented.  These shoes and I, along with one of my BFF's, went shopping!  We both needed a lil' retail therapy, she more than I.  We had Starbucks for breakfast and for the 30 minute drive to the mall.  We went in to a lot of the shops and she bought something in all of them!  I, however, did not.  And I did not make it out of that place with a pair of shoes, a wallet, a clutch purse, or a dress, which is what I wanted to pick up!  What a shame.  I did have a blast though.  We settled down with a pedicure after our shopping extravaganza.  We ended with a late lunch.  It was a great day!!  I cannot wait to do it again!

White Strapy Sandals

These are the new shoes I bought on Monday!  The metal accents are gold and the heel looks like cork.  Aren't they fabulous?!  I even have a hat to match!  I wore them all day today and I absolutely love them!  I wore them to take a math test that I know went horribly bad, but on the up side I looked very fashionable while taking it.  After my test I rushed to work, still looking hot in my high heels.  Ha ha ha ha!!  My motive for wearing the shoes today was to have a nice date with my boyfriend but he wanted Rally's instead.  Sad.  But, tomorrow is my shopping day!  Hooray!!

Gold Braided T-Strap Sandals

I know I've worn these before and I really like them!  They are summer and I feel a little exotic in them.  Silly, I know. 

I bought them at Cato last summer and I have been in love with them since.  I wear them a whole lot.  I wore them today to run errands around campus and to work after.  I pair these sandals with almost everything I own!  Its crazy how you can do that with one pair of shoes but not another.  Sometimes I think I just have days when I'm fashionable and not on others.  Thats why I would like to have a stylist, among other things.

I have spent the last 2 hours shopping for shoes online.  I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.  Or, the shoes that I do want are out of season.  For example, Brian Atwood Loca purple suede studded pumps as seen in Sex and the City 2. I want them so bad, but they are few and far between.  Not to mention I'm a cheapo and I do not want to spend that much.  Never fear, I have a shopping trip planned for Thursday, and I better be walking out of one of those malls with a pair of shoes!  I did, however, buy a pair of sandals yesterday that I am so excited to wear!  It was a great find at Cato!!  LOL!!

Bronze Wedges

These bronze wedges took me to church, work, and dinner at Sonic today.   I bought them a few years ago at Walmart of all places, for $3!   I like them a lot but I don’t wear them very often.  I find it hard to match my clothes with them.  I’m not really sure why.  They are very basic shoes.  Cute and summery!  I want to re-vamp my wardrobe over the summer break.  Get rid of the old frumpy things and wear more fashionable items on a daily basis.  That is my goal also, to buy a pair of nude sandals.  I purged six, yes six, pairs of shoes during my absence!  Fashionable replacements are needed.

Silver Snake Skin T-Strap Sandals

I haven't blogged in over a month!  I've been so consumed with school and work that I don't have much time for anything else.  So, school is out for the summer and now I have plenty of time to dedicate to this blog!!  I have one summer class but its so early in the morning that it shouldn't take up too much of my time.

So I haven't worn anything new over the past month.  Only shoes that I've posted on here.  I don't know why, but I just haven't!  Maybe I'm saving them for you guys...Ha ha ha!  I tried blogging two nights ago and the sight was down.  Sad face cause I was actually wearing a pair of shoes that I hadn't posted.  I'll wear them again.  As for today, I just bought these shoes on Wednesday.  Super cute!!  I bought them at Cato, of course.  I wore them to work, of course.  After work I hung out with a friend from school to talk about how we thought finals went.  I got all B's.  Thank you, thank you!  Any ways, these shoes also came in a very yellow gold color.  I think I like them.  Who knows I might buy them too!

Black Gkadiator Sandals With Silver Studs

So I totally love these sandals! I bought them last summer at Cato and I wear them a lot! I think I can find almost any type of outfit to wear with them. Dress, skirts, pants or shorts it doesn't matter. They look great!

I wore them to school this morning. What a day! Lots going on. I was so drained when I got home I fell asleep on the couch completely dressed shoes and all! Ha ha ha! I had work and thankfully I woke up in the nik of time. Grocery shopping was next! I stayed within my budget and that makes me so very happy!

Clinical again tomorrow but you know I'll post something good!

Sunday and Monday Shoes

I didn't blog yesterday because I had a horrible headach when I came home from work. All I wanted to do was watch a movie and relax. So that is what I did! Eat Pray Love and some excedrine worked wonderfully!

Sunday I wore a pair of black patent heels with a ruffle t-strap. I think I've blogged about them before. I bought them at Cato around a year and a half ago. My manager hasthe same pair and we both agree that they are fantastic! I wore them to church and to work. Those two alone filled my day. I was exhausted when I got home but not sleepy because I ended up not going to sleep until one.

Today I had clinical. So you know what that means, clinical shoes. When I came home from clinical I gorged on a Sonic hot dog and passed smooth out! This evening I went to a gym as a guest to one of my friends. I wore a pair of pink and silver Adidas tennis shoes that I bought from TJ Maxx a long time ago. Probably around 4 years. They are comfy and do their job when I do my exercising. 52 flights of stairs on the stairmaster! It was a great workout.

I see a theme with my tennis shoes, pink! I love it!!

Taupe Platform Sling Backs

These are the shoes I broke Lent for a few weeks ago. Now do you see why I couldn't pass them up? I had to have them. And now I do. And I love them. I bought them at Cato. Go figure. Ha ha ha! They are taupe with a touch of gold shimmer even though they look really gold.

I had work almost all day. But I did wear these fabulous shoes! Taupe platform sling back stilettos that have a 5 1/2 inch heel and around a 3 inch platform! They make ne over 6 feet tall!! I love them! They are nice to walk in and they didn't hurt my feet even though I wore them for 8 hours. Fabulous!

Clinical and A Wedding

Today was another clinical day so of course I wore my white New Balance tennis shoes. I got them from Shoe Carnival at the beginning of the year especially for my clinical rotations in nursing school.

After my clinical, I attended a wedding. It was very quaint. Small reception outdoors next to a river. It was very casual, so I decided to wear flip flops. But not the foam kind you find at Old Navy. I bought these on super clearance at, of all places, Cato! They look like mother of pearl or some kind of shell but they are just plastic beads. I really like them! Cut and they go with a lot of summer clothes. However, they are kind of heavy due to the wooden sole.

All in all a very nice day! It was hot and beautiful out! A great Friday!! Hope my Saturday is just as good!!

Turquoise and Silver Sequins

I wore turquoise sandals with silver sequins on them to class this morning.  I also wore them to work in the afternoon.  I did a little Walmart shopping with my co-worker after we closed the store.  Mainly shampoo and soap!  Ha ha ha!

I bought these sandals forever ago.  I think around 2005!  I don't really like them but I keep them for some reason.  I'm not exactly sure where I bought them, which is unusual for me to forget. 

I don't have a whole lot to say about my day except I'm extreamly tired.  And I should be studying for my placement exam and check offs for tomorrow.  Not looking forward to it!

Gray Snake Skin Sandals

Today I wore gray snake skin sandals with cute gun metal studs on them. I has an asvising appointment this morning to talk about the classes I need. I found out that I am missing a class! Big surprise!! I will need to take it next summer. I'm aalrwady taking a class this summer. This will be my first summer class ever. Not at all looking forward to it. Especially since I am on call for federal jury duty that same month. Ugh!

Any who, I also wore the flat sandals to work. Boy did I work! putting put the new floor set is always a challenge. I'll be finished with it tomorrow. Whew! And that suns upt day.

I bought these sandals last summer at Walmart of all places. I think they were around $10. And I think they has them in pink but I preferred the gray. They looked the best. They ate a lot of fun to wear. They definitely jazz up a plain outfit.

Black Ruffle Sandals And A Lazy Tuesday

No school on Tuesday! Yay!! I slept in and did a little cleaning too. So I pretty much wore my house shoes all day. I did have work at 4 so I wore my black ruffly sandals to work. After work I did a little grocery shopping to pick up some things I left out on Sunday, mainly to get snacks. Ha ha ha!! My classmates all met up for dancing on the kinect. It was so much fun!!

So for the shoes, I bought them last summer at Cato. One if my favorite pair of sandals. I wear them a lot as you can tell.

Another Clinical Shoe Day

I had my nursing clinical today.  This is the only thing I did today other then take a much needed nap.  My clinical day started out super slow but it picked up later.  I was very happy when it was over and I was in bed ready for napping.  It exhausted me! 

I bought these shoes at Shoe Carnival a few months ago and the only place I wear them to is my clinical site.  That is the only place my school will allow us to wear them to.  Frankly, that is the only place I will ever wear them to!

Gold T-Strap Sandals

It was a very beautiful day today so I wore these gold sandals. I wore them to church this morning and then to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. After lunch, I sat in bed and watched episodes of Glee on Netflix! Yay Glee!!

After, while it was still nice out, my roommate and I took a long walk. It was just wonderful outside! Smelled just like spring!!

When the sun started to set my boyfriend and went to the grocery store and to fill my car up with gas for my long trip to my clinical site on Monday. So that is all that I Sid today in my gold sandals.

I bought them last summer at Cato. And I wear them a lot!

Two Toned Yellow Heels With A Jewel

Today was a very beautiful day out.  It was warm with a slight breeze, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping.  It was gorgeous out!  It was perfect for taking a walk, which I did with my roommate.  I had work later in the afternoon and I wanted to dress like how the weather looked outside.  So I picked a yellow ruffly shirt and these two toned yellow heels.  They even have a big rhinestone on the toe to make them shiny!  They are so super cute and the even look like princess shoes if I do say so myself.  Ha ha ha!!  I bought these shoes a few years ago at, can you guess, Cato!  They aren't to bad to walk in but only do that for a few hours.  I felt like spring the whole time I wore them!

A Rainy Week

This week has been cold and rainy.  Yucky!!  It is also the week back to school after spring break.  Not fun.  I dindn't even get to do anything fun!  Not to mention is was cold and rainy over the break as well.  I have been so busy!  School is a lot of work!  There was no smooth transition, just jumping right back in.  That is why I haven't posted since Sunday.  I tried to get on here this week but I just didn't make the time.  so here we go.

Friday:  Clinical shoes.  I bought them at Shoe Carnival, actually my friend Cindy bought them for me as a "congratulations for getting into the nursing program" gift.  Much appreciated!  We had injection check offs.  I passed!  I feel bad that I had to poke my partner Jill, but she said I did ok. 

Thursday:  Studded flats, again!  I bougt these at Cato some time ago.  I wore them to school and to work.  Also, my worst day of the week.  I went to Home Depot to return a hand drill for my boyfriend and I got all the way to the store before I realized I forgot the tool!!  Just horriable.  After work I had a study group for my check offs on Friday.

Wednesday:  White New Balance tennis shoes for clinical.  I went to a new clinical site that is about and hour away from my house.  I also wore my Sperrys to work that evening.

Tuesday:  I wore my gray ankle boots that I bought from Avon during the fall.  I wore them to class and to work.  I can't really remember what I did in between class and work.

Monday:  My black, gray and pink Pumas!  I got these as a Christmas gift a long time ago.  I really like them, mainly because they are pink.  I wore these to class, which lasted from 7:30-3!  Not my kind of fun.  It counted as clinical hours.  Its hard to sit that long in a chair!  I had lunch with my friend Cindy and her 4 year old daughter at Ruby Tuesday's.  After dinner I had my night class, which I snoozed in due to me staying up late on Sunday.
