Two Toned Yellow Heels With A Jewel

Today was a very beautiful day out.  It was warm with a slight breeze, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping.  It was gorgeous out!  It was perfect for taking a walk, which I did with my roommate.  I had work later in the afternoon and I wanted to dress like how the weather looked outside.  So I picked a yellow ruffly shirt and these two toned yellow heels.  They even have a big rhinestone on the toe to make them shiny!  They are so super cute and the even look like princess shoes if I do say so myself.  Ha ha ha!!  I bought these shoes a few years ago at, can you guess, Cato!  They aren't to bad to walk in but only do that for a few hours.  I felt like spring the whole time I wore them!

A Rainy Week

This week has been cold and rainy.  Yucky!!  It is also the week back to school after spring break.  Not fun.  I dindn't even get to do anything fun!  Not to mention is was cold and rainy over the break as well.  I have been so busy!  School is a lot of work!  There was no smooth transition, just jumping right back in.  That is why I haven't posted since Sunday.  I tried to get on here this week but I just didn't make the time.  so here we go.

Friday:  Clinical shoes.  I bought them at Shoe Carnival, actually my friend Cindy bought them for me as a "congratulations for getting into the nursing program" gift.  Much appreciated!  We had injection check offs.  I passed!  I feel bad that I had to poke my partner Jill, but she said I did ok. 

Thursday:  Studded flats, again!  I bougt these at Cato some time ago.  I wore them to school and to work.  Also, my worst day of the week.  I went to Home Depot to return a hand drill for my boyfriend and I got all the way to the store before I realized I forgot the tool!!  Just horriable.  After work I had a study group for my check offs on Friday.

Wednesday:  White New Balance tennis shoes for clinical.  I went to a new clinical site that is about and hour away from my house.  I also wore my Sperrys to work that evening.

Tuesday:  I wore my gray ankle boots that I bought from Avon during the fall.  I wore them to class and to work.  I can't really remember what I did in between class and work.

Monday:  My black, gray and pink Pumas!  I got these as a Christmas gift a long time ago.  I really like them, mainly because they are pink.  I wore these to class, which lasted from 7:30-3!  Not my kind of fun.  It counted as clinical hours.  Its hard to sit that long in a chair!  I had lunch with my friend Cindy and her 4 year old daughter at Ruby Tuesday's.  After dinner I had my night class, which I snoozed in due to me staying up late on Sunday.

Lazy Sunday

I wore my black flats today.  I broke down and covered my toes, only because it was cold.  I went to church this morning and to the grocery store this afternoon.  I have been napping and studying the rest of the time.  Doing some last minute homework.  Not exactly what I wanted to be doing but that's what happens when you procrastinate!

Its cold and rainy today but it is supposed to be a lil warmer with some sunshine tomorrow.  I'll probably still be wearing closed toes shos due to the rain but just know that I will not be enjoying it!

Black Wedges

Saturday, the end of the week and the end of my spring break (insert sad face). It is cold and wet outside. Not the kind of weather I wanted. I decided not to wear closed toe shoes today. I wore peep toe wedges! Mostly closed in. It was the closest to closed in I am willing to get. Ha ha ha!!

I wore these black suede wedges with a bow on the toe to work. I bought them a few years ago at Payless. After work my sister and I got pedicures! Lots of fun until the lady told me my polish color was to light. So I picked out another color similar to it. It also, according to her, was to light. She painted them any way. And I thanked her, paid and tipped, then left. That's all I have to say about that.

Friday Flip Flops!

It was cold out today but I refused to let that get me down.  I wore flip flops any way!  I just can't bear the thought of closed toe shoes, even though I will probably wear some tomorrow.  It is supposed to be just a chilly Saturday as it was today.  It is the end of March, why is the weather playing catch and release with warm days?

I purchased these silver flip flops about three years ago from Cato.  Probably about the time I started working there.  I also have a pair in gold.  Ha ha ha!  I wear them a lot as you can tell by the creases in the sole.  They go with just about everything! That's why I wear them to work, which is where I wore them today.  Sadly that is the only thing I did today.  I feel my days are consumed by work.  I need a vacation.  Somewhere exotic...Ha ha ha!!

I took the picture of these shoes on a white background because it was suggested to me that it would be less distracting.  I kind of agree.  So, hopefully I will remember to use the white hankerchief (which is what that is!  Ha ha ha!!) when taking the photos of my shoes.

Red Wedges and Bowling Night

I bought these red wedges a couple of years ago at Target. I've probably worn them a handful of times. I don't know why I don't wear them more. They are super cute! I enjoyed wearing these today. I love red shoes!

I wore them to the post office to drop off a package and get a passport application. Then I went to work! Yay fun!!

When I got home from work my boyfriend and I went bowling with another couple. We are actually still in the bowling ally in the middle of our second game! Ha ha ha!! I'm having a ton of fun! Other than the fact that we waited FOREVER for our food. But all is good now.

Just A Tennis Shoe Kind Of Day

Today was my day off! I didn't get dressed up or put on cute springy shoes. I didn't even put on makeup! I wore my pink and gray tennis shoes all day. Along with a t-shirt a d work out pants.

My boyfriend bought these shoes for me last summer at Shoe Carnival. He has a matching pair in black and white. We are twinkies sometimes. Ha ha ha!!

I took my dog Lou for a walk this morning and ran some errands later in the afternoon. I watched a few episodes of Top Model and flipped through a magazine. Later, my boyfriend took me for a drive in his car the he his remodeling. We ate some really great food at a Mexican restaurant and then headed home. Thats about the extent of my day off. Ha ha ha! Quite boring actually. I didn't get anything done that was on my "to do" list.
