Where Have I Been?!

I have been so crazy busy this week that I have not had time to sleep let alone blog!  I have had tests and paper work coming out of my ears!  Yesterday I sat down and immediately went to sleep!  My boyfriend woke me up 30 min later to go to work.  That was the most time I spent at home all day!  I'm telling you, this week has been crazy. 

As you know, yesterday started the beginning of the Lenten season.  It is a period of 40 days and nights that we are asked to give up something we enjoy to devote more time to the Lord.  Sadly, I gave up shopping for things that I do not need.  Shoes are in that category.  It makes me sad to think about it.  No new shoes for a long time.  So super sad!  But I have plenty of shoes to get me through!

Now lets get to what shoes I wore during my absence.
Today I wore my black flats to school and to work.  There was a lunch date with my boyfriend in between.  Subway!  Yum!! 

On Wednesday I wore my blue and green plaid rain boots.  I had class and work.  I wore a hodge podge of items yesterday!  It wasn't even raining anymore! 

Tuesday I wore my Sperrys.  It actually was raining that day.  I had class and work.  Not fun especially since I had been off the last three days.  Yuck!  And it got super cold outside!  What happened to an early spring?!

Monday I wore my clinical shoes.  I immediately put my sleeping sheep house shoes on when I got home!

Well that's it in a nutshell.  This is really long after I added pictures!  Have a good shoe day tomorrow!  Hopefully it will be warmer!

A Flat Day

It was extremely chilly when I woke up this morning so I couldn't wear sandals or flip flops like I wanted to.  I was really tired so I didn't put a whole lot of thought or effort into my outfit.  I just picked out a shirt, jeans and my black flats with the studs on the toe.  Then I went to church.  After church, the boyfriend and I got donuts and orange juice.  Yummy!!  That's when I started to wake up! 

My sister came to visit over the weekend so we went shopping today.  I got a new pair of jeans, a few cute shirts and a romper.  I went into Maurice's just to look and they were having "buy any pair of shoes, get the second for $15".  I was very tempted!  Sadly, I didn't buy a single pair of shoes today.  Its almost time to cash in my "Shoe $$$" and really go crazy!!

I can't remember if I ever told where I got these flats so here it is.  I bought these shoes about a year ago from Cato (of course!).  They were on Clearence for $4.99.  I couldn't leave them behind!  Ha ha ha! Plus I needed a new pair of black flats.  My other ones smelled like somehting died in them!  Shoo-wee!!  So that's the story.

Well I have clinical tomorrow so we all know what that means.  Boring 'ol white shoes.  Blah!!  I hope you have a better shoe day than me!

Black Wedges

My Saturday shoes! I bought these babies yesterday from Cato. I like how the wedge on them looks like suede and leather. The shape or cut outs on the top of the foot is really cute too. This is the first pair of wedges I've owned that aren't strappy. I really like them and they are super high which makes me extremely tall.

I wore them to my cousin's baby shower and later to Best Buy to get the boyfriend a new laptop. He is fully enjoying it as we speak.

I didn't do a whole lot today. I did get to sleep in and it was fabulous! I think I enjoyed that part of my day the most! Ha ha ha! However, I steped on a worm when I woke up! It scared the crap out of me! My heart was beating so fast!

T-Strap Sandals

I love these sandals!  I think I wore them every day last summer!!  They are a little scuffed up and worn in all over!  They are just black with a ruffle t-strap and they go around the ankle, you just pull them on.  They are great!  And I bought them at Cato.

I wore them today when I went shopping around for a new bed, which I found.  It was raining.  Not hard but enough to disappoint me and make me wish that I had worn a different pair of shoes.  It evenually quit so I continued to wear them all day.  Straight into work!  Ha ha ha!!

Its beginning to thunder so I don't believe I will be wearing sandals again tomorrow.  That makes me a little sad inside.

So Warm I Wore Sandals

Today was such a beautiful day out that I could not resist wearing sandals!  I wore my gladiator sandals that are decorated with studs.  I bought them over the summer at Cato.  They are very cute and fun to wear.   I had class this morning and work in the evening.  I didn't do to much today.  I finally got a nap in this week though.   Ha ha ha!

I think my toes know that the weather is warming up because they refuse to be shut inside shoes any more!  I know that sounds funny but I do believe they have a mind of their own.  And they want sandals!!

I hope tomorrow is more beautiful than today was so I can wear another pair of sandals!!

Gray Suede Ankle Boots

I wore these ankle boots to work today. I had clinical so for the first part of the day I wore my white tennis shoes. After work I went out with a few of my friends for Mexican food and margaritas. We had a ton of fun just gossiping about all sorts of things!

Back to the shoes. I bought them from Avon during the first part of fall. The are a gray suede with a zipper at the back. They also have this rippled gel sole inside that makes them feel like you are walking on clouds! It's so crazy! It makes them very comfortable.

I have trouble finding clothes to wear with them. I have found that you just have to try your shoes on with like everything in your closet to see what works. It's fun on your day off but not while you are in a hurry. Ha ha ha!

Pink and Gray Nikes

Happy first day March!  I wore a pair of tennis shoes on this very beautiful day!  I trodded around school and town in them.  I had work but we are not allowed to wear tennis shoes so I changed in to a pair of flats.  After work I changed back into them and had dinner with my roomies, my boyfriend and his mom, and my co-worker and her boyfriend.  It was delicious and now I'm extreamly stuffed!  We even took a little trip to Walmart after dinner.  My printer is out of ink.

My boyfriend bought me these tennis shoes from Shoe Carnival a couple of months ago.  I absolutely love them!  I don't have very many tennis shoes but the ones I do have have some kind of pink in them!  Can you tell what my favorite color is?  Ha ha ha!

Tomorrow I have clinical so I will be wearing my white shoes again.  This does not make me happy.  However, I will be off work this weekend so you can bet I will be buying a new pair of shoes.  Hopefully it will be warm out so I can wear sandals!
