2 Pair In 1 Day!

The first part of the day I wore my flat boots.  That is to school and to lunch with the roomie.  The second part of the day I wore the new shooties I bought on Saturday.  I wore these to work and then to Wendy's to get food before the snowpocolipse hits.  Ha ha ha! 

When the boyfriend got home from work he told me about a website and store called Shoe Show.  It is fabulous!  It is part of  the Shoe Dept. and I love it!  I found this pair of booties that I will be getting for Valentine's Day!  Pretty excited!!

I have a lot of black shoes.  Maybe it seems like that only because its winter.  Spring will bring in brighter colors.  I just know it.

Tomorrow we will be having a snow day!  Hope we all enjoy it!!

Puddle Jumping Shoes and My Lazy Day

Today I wore my rain boots because we have had so much snow and it melts so fast that it just leaves everything soaked and squishy.  I looked for what seems like forever for a pair of rain boots that fit right and were semi cute.  Lo and behold the only place I didn't think to look was Walmart.  And that is just were I found these for only $9!  However, my feet get very cold in them even with fuzzy socks on.  I cleaned the snow off of my car and squished through a few mud puddles (for fun!) before I sat in class all day.  Then my feet started to freeze!  I just don't understand it.  I keep these by the door to put on when I take the dogs out.  You just never know where they will run!

Yesterday was my day off and the only thing I did was go to church.  When I got home, PJ's and fuzzy shoes on!  I wore them all day!  It was wonderful!!  I got these at TJ Maxx a few years ago for $20.  They are a knock-off of Ugg.  But they are just as comfortable!  I roll the top down just so my feet will slide in better.  I feel lazy for saying that.  Ha ha ha!

Black Leather Platform Shooties

I bought and wore these shoes today.  I also re-learned the difference between booties and shooties.  Ha ha ha!  Booties are above the ankle and resemble boots but are not all enough to be boots.  Shooties are below the ankle.  Also, ankle boots hit above the ankle or right at the ankle.  We all learned something new today!

I wore them to work of course.  Me, the boyfriend and the roomies went shopping for new lap tops for the roomies.  They both found really good ones!  I have no need for a new one like they did.  Not to mention I spend all of my money on shoes so its a good thing I don't need a new computer!  Ha ha!

After shopping for what seemed like a million years, and I didn't even get to buy anything, we went to a Mexican restaurant and had margaritas!!  YUMMY!!!  Enchiladas Verde and strawberry margaritas was my dinner choice. 

I'm really glad I got these shoes.  They are very plain  but can still be dressed up.  They are just black faux leather (I believe) with a nice 3/4 inch platform and a 4 1/2 inch heel.  Both stacked.  The shooties zip up the inside too.  I can't to wear them again!

Snow Day!!

Today as I was driving to meet with a woman I carpool with, she called and said school was canceled.  So, I turned around and went back to bed.  When I woke up again snow was on the ground!  Yay snow!!  My shoes of choice for today were Uggs.  Maybe not the best choice since they have a rubber sole and there was snow and sludge on the ground.  I did not however, bust my booty.  Props for me!  It snowed all day and I wore these boots all day.  Ha ha!  My feet were very warm in them too.  I wear socks with mine.  Some people don't but I find my feet sweat if I do not. 

I went trapsing around town today with the boyfriend and the roomies.  Lots of fun and lots of snow!  We had Mexican and then made a trip to Target.  I bought some Valentine's Day candy and a Cinnamon Dolce from Starbucks.  Yummy!!

After our trip, I headed to work.  Not so much fun on a snow day.  But, we ended up closing an hour early! 

All the while, snow was falling like crazy all day, the temp dropped to below freezing and my feet stayed warm the whole time.

Brown Riding Boots

I bought these riding boots this season so they are fairly new.  I saw this type of shoe in magazines and the girls wore everything with them and looked super cute!  I'm having trouble coming up with outfits that go with them.  I've only been able to wear them 3 times I think.  I need a little more variety with them.

I wore the boots today with a pair of jeggings and a long cowl neck sweater.  They took me to class and then to a lil shop to purchase a new pair of shoes.  I looked all around for the purple ankle booties I spoke of in my last post but they were nowhere to be found!!  It was a sad moment.  I didn't see anything else that was to my liking so I left. 

After class, I went with the boyfriend to the doctor and then headed to work.  After work I went with my co-worker to the Dollar Tree where we both purchased an eyelash curler.  I had to throw my old one away because it cut my eyelashes!!  They are very uneven right now and I was told it takes up to 6 months for them to grow!!  I'm seriously considering false lashes until June.  Ha ha ha!!

Favorite Leather Boots

Like I've said in other posts, I love these boots!  They are comfortable and warm!  I wore them to class today.  I got out of class a lot earlier then expected so I came home and watched some TV.  I fell asleep on the love seat with my feet hanging off!  Ha ha ha!!  My boots were still on!  I was very comfortable while sleeping in my boots!  After I woke up, I went to dinner with a friend and then came home to change into a pair of dress pants and flats for work.  When I walked back outside, in the very chilly air, my calves were freezing!  This is another reason I love knee high boots, they keep your legs warm!

I work at a clothing store and we are getting in warm weather clothes and shoes and I'm just falling in love with everything!  Our store is carrying ahh-mazing sandals!  I'm gonna have to post pics of them!  I might even purchase a pair or two.  Ha ha ha!

I bleieve tomorrow is the day for me to buy a new pair of shoes.  Probably a pair of boots.  I have a pair of said boots in mind.  They happen to be purple.  I'm excited!

Last Shoes of January, First Shoes of February

For the last day of January, I wore my Sperrys.  Ha ha ha!  I'm wearing them a lot lately. 

For the first day of February, I wore these cute wedges.  They are black leather with a black bow on the toe.  The shoes resemble loafers.  They are cute and comfy!  I like how the inside is a floral pattern.  I bought them at Payless a very long time ago.  So long I really can't remember!  Any who, I wore them to class and to work.  They kept my feet cozy through the cold weather we are experiencing now.  Ugh!  Like I said in an earlier blog, I don't enjoy the cold.
