Clinical Shoes

This is my second post from my new phone. The iPhone 4! I really like it so far! My only hang up is that o cannot post a pic from my phone to here. I don't know why it won't let me. It's very frustrating. Other than that its great! It's very fast on loading things. Much faster than my little BlackBerry, which I kind of miss. I like real keyboards. I have to use spell check a lot!

Ok, now to the shoes. I had my nursing clinical today. I have to have all white shoes with a white sole. I was able to find a pair of completely white New Balance tennis shoes at Shoe Carnival. They were a little more than I wanted to pay for but my friend Cindy nought them for me as a congratulatory gift for getting into the nursing program. They are pretty comfortable which is good considering how much walking I do! Ha ha ha!!

Hopefully it will be warmer tomorrow so I can wear sandals! Have a good shoe day! See you in the next blog!

Pink Peep Toe

Today the only thing I did was go to work.  I slept through church.  Yikes! 

I wore these puppies all day!  They are a pink leather with a ruffle on the toe that is trimmed in gold. The toe is patent and the inside of the shoe is gold! Its a 4 inch-ish heel with a 1 inch hidden platform.  They are super high!!  I love wearing these!  I get a ton of compliments on these too!  Pink is my favorite color!  I have more pink, red and black shoes than any other color.  Ha ha ha! 

Tomorrow I have clinical so I will only get to wear my white tennis shoes.  Yuck!!

Black Suede Ruffle Shooties

Today was a very busy day!  I had work until 3.  After work my boyfriend, his mom and I went shoe shopping but no one bought anything!  Wow!  I know!  I did look at some Toms though.  I'm still thinking about it.  We also went to my dad's house and had burgers and listened to 80's music.  It was fun!  We drove to Walmart and shopped around.  We looked at a lot of house wares and Easter candy.  Ha ha ha!  We ended up buying two boxes of donuts!  There goes the abs I was working on!  Ha ha ha!!

All the while wearing these fabulous shoes!  These are black faux suede shooties with a funky ruffle down the middle.  They have a 3" heel and 1/2"-ish hidden platform.  I bought these cuties at Cato in October or November.  I've worn them quite a bit and I enjoy wearing them!  I always get tons of compliments when I do!

Sperrys and Boots

Today I wore my flat black slouchy boots to class.  Afterward, some classmates and I went to a Mexican restaurant to have lunch and margaritas to celebrate a birthday.  We had a lot of fun and laughs!

When I came home I took a nap to help my headache but it didn't.  I ended up being late to work!  Ugh!  I decided to wear my Sperrys to work instead of my boots.  They looked cute with my outfit too!  Ha ha ha! 

I wore my Sperrys to a bar (my classmates wanted to celebrate some more).  That was fun too!  I love watching drunk people dance!  It keeps me laughing!

Thursday, I wore my Sperrys to class and to work just like I said I would.  Ha ha ha!!  But it started raining really hard.  So I had to wear my rain boots around and change into my shoes when I went in.  Turns out we had tornado sightings around my town.  The sky turned this weird green color then faded into an amber color.  Then it rained some more! That's pretty much it for Thursday.  Ha ha ha!!

Ruffle T-Strap Heels

I had clinical this morning so I wore my white New Balance tennis shoes.  After clinical I had work.  I wore black patent leather heels with a ruffle T-strap.  Super cute!  I bought them last spring and wore them as much as I could! They are very comfortable due to the 1/2" platform.  Easy to walk in and work in.

My boss bought the same shoes and she loves them equally as much as I do!  One flaw about these shoes, the elastic holding the buckle is very weak.  Made us both extremely sad.  She had to replace hers, I had to reinforce mine.  I bought another pair similar to them.  They will eventually make an appearance on this little bloggy.  Ha ha ha!!

I'm still very tired due to my hectic schedule and family matters.  Hopefully tomorrow I will type more and wear fun shoes!  Although, I'm thinking it might be a Sperry day.  Ha ha ha!!  I've been considering buying a pair of Toms so I will have more variety in my hurry-up-and-put-your-shoes-on shoes.  Ha ha ha!!!

Taupe Booties

My sister gave me these boots over the Christmas holiday.  I really like them!  They are faux leather, kind of a taupe-y color with a brass buckle.  They just slip right on.  No zipperr needed.  She bought them at It's Fashion.  Another of my favorite places to buy inexpensive shoes.  They have a ton of unusual shoes year round!

Today I wore boots because it was actually cold!  I know!  In the middle of February we get 40 degree weather!  Ha ha ha!  I wore the booties to class and then to the hospital.  My boyfriend had back surgery and I sat pretty all day.  It was an out-patient procedure and everything went great.  I also went grocery shopping with his mother after the operation.  It was a very eventful day but I guess I'm just to tired to type a whole lot.  Ha ha ha!

Gladiators and Rosettes

Aren't theses shoes beautiful?!  I absolutely love them!  I bought them a few weeks ago at Cato on clearance for around $15.  They are a faux suede T-strap with about a four inch heel.  The round toe and rosettes just add class!  I only got to wear them to work today due to my clinical.  They have a hidden platform so they aren't to bad to work in.  I would love to wear them with a vintage outfit!

Sunday I got to dip into my sandals again!  I wore these bronze gladiators with some skinny jeans to church and then to my dad's BBQ.  I bought them at Cato about two summers ago.  I like them ok I would just prefer they have something at the heel.  I've slipped out of them before on some wet grass.  Not fun!

First Sandals Of The Year!!

Today I wore my first pair of sandals! It was such a beautiful day out that I just couldn't resist it! I went to lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant with my boyfriend, his brother and their cousin. It was so delicious! Afterwards, I ran some errands with my car windows down. Ha ha ha! Later I went to work where my coworkers and I rocked the sales! The weather brought everyone out.

I bought these sandals last summer at Cato. I think they were around $15. Not to bad. I wore them a lot last summer and I plan to wear them a lot again this year.

Friday I wore my Sperry's. My alarm did not go off and I woke up so very late. We had class for what seemed like forever! I had to rush to work! That is what my day consisted of. Running late! Ha ha ha!  I wear these so much I think I might buy another pair.  Maybe with a little color in them!

My boyfriend gave me an iPhone 4 and this is my first post from it. I'm enjoying so far! But I had to upload the Photos from my computer.  It wouldn't let me import from my phone.

I hope the weather permitted some of you to wear sandals too!

I Found Shoes!!

I have been very busy this week!  I had my first week of clinical and I've taken 2 of 3 test this week.  Its been very crazy and sleepless!  I did find time to look for some shoes with color in them.  Especially since we have been experiencing warm weather.  Crazy to have spring like weather just days after the snow melts away!  Ha ha ha!!

Today I wore these great zebra and hot pink caged heels!  I got them over the summer at It's Fashion.  I love them so much!  I always have someone compliment me when I wear them!  Love, Love, Love these shoes!!  I wore them to class where almost every girl noticed them, then to work where a few customers commented on them too. 

Wednesday I found a pair of deep red patent flats in my closet!  Who knew that I had more than one!!  I sure forgot about them!  I bought them at Payless probably a few years ago.  I wore them to work.  I had clinical, work, and then an all night study group.  Ugh!  I just hope I passed that test.  Its was a nightmare!

Tuesday I wore my black flats.  I was just to tired to think after having clinical and studying Monday night.  I'm starting to get used to the sleepless thing.  I don't like it though.  I wore my flats to class and then ran some errands-pick up check, lunch with the boyfriend, get oil changed, deposit check,  milk shake with Cindy.  I had work after.  It turned out to be a busier day than I had planned!

Off-White Heels With Pink Flowers

Today, as you know, is Valentine's Day!  I had my first LPN clinical at a nursing home.  It went as good as could be expected.  I enjoyed myself.  I will go again Wednesday.  I hope I will feel more in sync then. 

After conicals, I came home and dyed my hair, showered and got all dolled up.  Then, me and the roomie decided to make today a girls day!  We ate at my favorite,Olive Garden!  So very delicious!  It was very busy, as is expected for today.  I wore these off-white heels with pink flowers.  I bought these forever ago at Payless.  I know this is only the third time I've worn them.  They are special occasion shoes.  They are unlike any other that I've seen.  Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.  Ha ha ha!!  I think they are so very cute, classy and unusual!

I played on the Wii Fit!  It was great!  I've decided that I'm going to try to do yoga everyday.  We'll see how long it lasts.  Ha ha ha!!

Pink Pointed Toe With Rouching

Pink, my favorite! I bought these such a long time ago at Payless! I've had them for so long they are about to fall apart. I wore them today cause I'm in the Valentine's Day spirit!

I have my first day of clinicals tomorrow and I know I will not get to wear fabulous shoes there. Ha ha ha! The roomie and I are going to go eat somewhere tomorrow so I'll be sure to pick out something great! Probably pink! Ha ha ha!!

More Black Shoes!!

Today I wore a pair of sling back wedges.  They have a stacked wooden sole, closed toe and are faux suede.  They even have a cue knot on the toe.  I bought them at Payless some time ago.  I haven't worn them very much.  A handful of times at most. 

I wear them with skinny jeans or slacks.  I think I will try them with a skirt next!  I only got to wear them to work today.  And to Walmart.  Sadly my cute shoes did not get to see an exciting day. 

Thses are my Friday boots.  Told ya I would wear boots!  My friend Tiffany gave me these boots last summer.  I think she may have gotten them from Payless as well. 

I wore them with leggings, a long stripped cardigan and a cute hat.  The boyfriend and I went shopping at Target and then we ate Arby's.  We bought a Wii Fit.  I've been to busy to hook it up.  After shopping, I went to work. 

When I came home I checked the mail and on my way back I slipped on the ice and fell!  My left elbow is bruised and my left hip hurts!  To make matters worse, I slipped earlier that morning too!  Bruised my right knee on that one. 

I'm glad the ice is melting and I hope your weekend started off better than mine!

Very Snow Filled Day

It snowed a ton yesterday!  Today I had to drive through it to go to work.  It was very icy and wet.  I wore my rain boots while I walked through the snow to my car, then through the squishy parking lot into work.  When I got inside, I changed into my flats so that I would match.  And I worked my tail off!!  After work was done I had to drudge through the snow to take the trash out.  It was very dangerous.  Deep snow drifts and speeding cars!

I predict tomorrow to be a boot day.  And I would so love to be wearing these thigh high wedge boots.  Hope we all have a great boot day tomorrow!! 

Sleepy Lamb Feet

These just happen to be my very soft house shoes worn by my very lovely boyfriend!  Ha ha ha!  I got them about a year ago as a gift from a friend.  She purchased them from Bath & Body Works.  They are just so cute!!  I wore them all day today!  I didn't even leave the house except to walk through the snow to the mailbox.  And what a lot of snow it was!! 

This is what it looked like as I walked through the snow.  I am wearing my blue and green rain boots.  They stay by the door so I don't get my feet wet when I go out in the snow.  Ha ha! 

This is where my roommate's car was until her boyfriend (my other roommate) moved it.  Its a lot more snow then they predicted!  Snow day!!

2 Pair In 1 Day!

(Hello Avery's eyeball!)

The first part of the day I wore my flat boots.  That is to school and to lunch with the roomie.  The second part of the day I wore the new shooties I bought on Saturday.  I wore these to work and then to Wendy's to get food before the snowpocolipse hits.  Ha ha ha! 

When the boyfriend got home from work he told me about a website and store called Shoe Show.  It is fabulous!  It is part of  the Shoe Dept. and I love it!  I found this pair of booties that I will be getting for Valentine's Day!  Pretty excited!!

I have a lot of black shoes.  Maybe it seems like that only because its winter.  Spring will bring in brighter colors.  I just know it.

Tomorrow we will be having a snow day!  Hope we all enjoy it!!

Puddle Jumping Shoes and My Lazy Day

Today I wore my rain boots because we have had so much snow and it melts so fast that it just leaves everything soaked and squishy.  I looked for what seems like forever for a pair of rain boots that fit right and were semi cute.  Lo and behold the only place I didn't think to look was Walmart.  And that is just were I found these for only $9!  However, my feet get very cold in them even with fuzzy socks on.  I cleaned the snow off of my car and squished through a few mud puddles (for fun!) before I sat in class all day.  Then my feet started to freeze!  I just don't understand it.  I keep these by the door to put on when I take the dogs out.  You just never know where they will run!

Yesterday was my day off and the only thing I did was go to church.  When I got home, PJ's and fuzzy shoes on!  I wore them all day!  It was wonderful!!  I got these at TJ Maxx a few years ago for $20.  They are a knock-off of Ugg.  But they are just as comfortable!  I roll the top down just so my feet will slide in better.  I feel lazy for saying that.  Ha ha ha!

Black Leather Platform Shooties

I bought and wore these shoes today.  I also re-learned the difference between booties and shooties.  Ha ha ha!  Booties are above the ankle and resemble boots but are not all enough to be boots.  Shooties are below the ankle.  Also, ankle boots hit above the ankle or right at the ankle.  We all learned something new today!

I wore them to work of course.  Me, the boyfriend and the roomies went shopping for new lap tops for the roomies.  They both found really good ones!  I have no need for a new one like they did.  Not to mention I spend all of my money on shoes so its a good thing I don't need a new computer!  Ha ha!

After shopping for what seemed like a million years, and I didn't even get to buy anything, we went to a Mexican restaurant and had margaritas!!  YUMMY!!!  Enchiladas Verde and strawberry margaritas was my dinner choice. 

I'm really glad I got these shoes.  They are very plain  but can still be dressed up.  They are just black faux leather (I believe) with a nice 3/4 inch platform and a 4 1/2 inch heel.  Both stacked.  The shooties zip up the inside too.  I can't to wear them again!

Snow Day!!

Today as I was driving to meet with a woman I carpool with, she called and said school was canceled.  So, I turned around and went back to bed.  When I woke up again snow was on the ground!  Yay snow!!  My shoes of choice for today were Uggs.  Maybe not the best choice since they have a rubber sole and there was snow and sludge on the ground.  I did not however, bust my booty.  Props for me!  It snowed all day and I wore these boots all day.  Ha ha!  My feet were very warm in them too.  I wear socks with mine.  Some people don't but I find my feet sweat if I do not. 

I went trapsing around town today with the boyfriend and the roomies.  Lots of fun and lots of snow!  We had Mexican and then made a trip to Target.  I bought some Valentine's Day candy and a Cinnamon Dolce from Starbucks.  Yummy!!

After our trip, I headed to work.  Not so much fun on a snow day.  But, we ended up closing an hour early! 

All the while, snow was falling like crazy all day, the temp dropped to below freezing and my feet stayed warm the whole time.

Brown Riding Boots

I bought these riding boots this season so they are fairly new.  I saw this type of shoe in magazines and the girls wore everything with them and looked super cute!  I'm having trouble coming up with outfits that go with them.  I've only been able to wear them 3 times I think.  I need a little more variety with them.

I wore the boots today with a pair of jeggings and a long cowl neck sweater.  They took me to class and then to a lil shop to purchase a new pair of shoes.  I looked all around for the purple ankle booties I spoke of in my last post but they were nowhere to be found!!  It was a sad moment.  I didn't see anything else that was to my liking so I left. 

After class, I went with the boyfriend to the doctor and then headed to work.  After work I went with my co-worker to the Dollar Tree where we both purchased an eyelash curler.  I had to throw my old one away because it cut my eyelashes!!  They are very uneven right now and I was told it takes up to 6 months for them to grow!!  I'm seriously considering false lashes until June.  Ha ha ha!!

Favorite Leather Boots

Like I've said in other posts, I love these boots!  They are comfortable and warm!  I wore them to class today.  I got out of class a lot earlier then expected so I came home and watched some TV.  I fell asleep on the love seat with my feet hanging off!  Ha ha ha!!  My boots were still on!  I was very comfortable while sleeping in my boots!  After I woke up, I went to dinner with a friend and then came home to change into a pair of dress pants and flats for work.  When I walked back outside, in the very chilly air, my calves were freezing!  This is another reason I love knee high boots, they keep your legs warm!

I work at a clothing store and we are getting in warm weather clothes and shoes and I'm just falling in love with everything!  Our store is carrying ahh-mazing sandals!  I'm gonna have to post pics of them!  I might even purchase a pair or two.  Ha ha ha!

I bleieve tomorrow is the day for me to buy a new pair of shoes.  Probably a pair of boots.  I have a pair of said boots in mind.  They happen to be purple.  I'm excited!

Last Shoes of January, First Shoes of February

For the last day of January, I wore my Sperrys.  Ha ha ha!  I'm wearing them a lot lately. 

For the first day of February, I wore these cute wedges.  They are black leather with a black bow on the toe.  The shoes resemble loafers.  They are cute and comfy!  I like how the inside is a floral pattern.  I bought them at Payless a very long time ago.  So long I really can't remember!  Any who, I wore them to class and to work.  They kept my feet cozy through the cold weather we are experiencing now.  Ugh!  Like I said in an earlier blog, I don't enjoy the cold.
