One Week, 5 New Pair

I bought five new pair of shoes in a span of 9 days!  I know, crazy!  I haven't bought any shoes in months.  Meaning, I have not spent my own money on shoes in a very long time.  I bought a pair with Christmas money in December.  I have yet to wear them.  I am still plotting the perfect outfit for them.  = )  My best friend Cindy, who just happens to be my stand in mom, gave me some shoe shopping money as a pick-me-up!  I was delighted at this!  I shopped around and did a lot of thinking about where and what I would buy with my allotted shoe cash.  I began going down my list of favorite websites for shoes.  I clicked on Just Fab.  And as I was cruising the site and my appointed shoe selections for the month, I came across their Birthday Celebration deal.  Buy one pair for $39.95 and get a second pair free!  I couldn't believe my eyes!!  I picked two fabulous pair and checked out.  Feeling great about my bargin of a buy I continued to shop around with the rest of my shoe cash.  I went into Shoe Carnival with a friend to look for her some boots.  I found these beautiful strapy hells with a fabulous satin bow at the ankle.  I drooled over them before deciding to leave them behind.  A few days later I went back into Shoe Carnival to purchase my said friend a gift card and I went back over to check on the shoes again.  My size was still in stock so I decided to try them on.  I was sold!  They came home with me that night!  I still had some, not much, but some cash left.  Just Fab sucked me in again with their Birthday sale, so I got two more pair.  They should be here today.  I'm so excited about them!  I cannot wait to wear them!!

Classic Uggs

My boyfriend bought me my first pair of Ugg boots as a late Christmas gift.  I've been meaning to blog about them, I've just been to lazy to do it.  He ordered them for me on new year's day.  I thought it was a wonderful way to start out the new year!  = )  Since then I have only been able to wear them three times, seeing as how it hasn't gotten very cold at all this year. 

I love them!  They are so soft and warm and comfortable.  I was wearing them around my house to kind of break them in so they weren't so tight but I accidently dropped carpet cleaner on the toe.  I almost cried!  I tried wiping it off but some of the dye rubbed off onto the cloth.  I called around to some leather shops and shoe stores and was told to buy the Ugg cleaner and sealent.  I will have to try it out and see if it works.  In the meantime, I will not be wearing them while I clean!

Toms

This post is a little late coming.  I haven't even turned my computer on in a week.  When I originally started this blog it was only going to be for a year, but there are still some shoes I haven't worn and I continue to get new pairs that I want to share.  So, I have decided to continue with the blog.  Without further adue.

My Christmas present from my sister was a pair of red Toms!  I've wanted a pair for a while and now I finally have them!  They are super comfy, soft, and versitile.  I have only worn them twice since she gave them to me on the 27th of December.  I have noticed that Toms normally come in a box with a flag and a sticker.  Well, mine did come with a sticker but the flag just happened to be a shoe bag!  How awesome?  This just might be the begining of my Toms collection! 

Black Sequin Pumps

My Merry Christmas Eve present to myself is a pair of black and silver sequin pumps.  I got these at my work, Cato, and they are fabulous!  We got these shoes in last year around this time and they flew off the shelves before I could even get a good look at them.  When we got them in again this year I just had to have a pair.  I'm so excited that I was able to get a pair and I cannot wait to wear them!

Last Week

OMG!  What a week last week was!  I had two finals on Wednesday and one on Thursday.  We had snow on Tuesday night and it was beautiful!  Unfortunately southerners do not react well to snow.  I got rear-ended on my way to take my final on Wednesday.  I am ok.  No damage to me just to my car.  I was very late but I had a very good excuse for missing and I was able to make up the test.  I passed all of my finals and came out of this semester with 3 B's and 1 A.  Pretty good turn out if I do say so myself. 

Saturday, the 10th, was my birthday!  It was fun!  Friday night I went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra and it was awesome, slow in the begining, but awesome none the less.  Saturday night my boyfriend took me out and we had pizza and drinks with some friends.  I had a really good birthday weekend.

During the mess that was last week, I wore these amazing leopard flats that I bought over the Thanksgiving holiday.  Yay for flats and yay for my first pair of animal print shoes!!  I bought them at Cato and I have been wearing them with dress pants and jeans.  My favorite outfit to wear with them so far is a pair of flare leg jeans with the knees ripped, a white ruffle tank and a lime green cardigan.  It's so super cute!

Coming To A Close

This year is flying by!  I got so caught up in school and tests that I didn't even get to blog the whole month of November.  That makes me sad.  I have had such a crazy semester at school and other things popping up that blogging was the last thing on my mind. I am only one semester away from graduting as a LPN. 

 Now that the year is coming to a close, looking back on all of my shoes, I can honeslty say I've worn almost all of them.  I can actually think of only one pair that I haven't worn.  It's way to cold to wear them now but I've had them for many years and I've only worn them once.  Maybe next spring. 

I have bought a lot of shoes and got rid of some as well.  I thought I had a lot more shoes than I actually do but it's been awhile since I've counted them last.  I think that will be my last post of the year.  I'm pretty sure I will have more new shoes before that day.  Hahaha!

Tall Cognac Boots

My sister bought these boots for me last week at Target as an early birthday present.  They were the very last ones in this style and they were in my size!  Not to mention they were on SALE!  I had to snatch these bad boys up.  I don't have any boots like them and I have been searching for a pair.  I was really very happy when I found them. 

I wore them yesterday with black jeggings, an ivory top and gold jewlery to work and then to dinner with my family.  Today I wore them with jeggings and a plaid top to a baby shower and to dinner with my boyfrined.  They are so versitile that I've also worn them with a dress!
